Teaching

I am passionate about teaching students evidence-based management skills and practices needed to be effective leaders. I embrace experiential learning and flipped classroom pedagogy to create a welcoming, dynamic, and, if I may say so, fun classroom experience. Most importantly, I strive to create a psychologically safe classroom to allow for open discussion, risk-taking, and creativity.

At Berkeley Haas, I teach the core MBA leadership class (Teaching Evaluation: 6.9/7). I received the Cheit Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2023. Before Haas, I taught Managerial and Organizational Behavior for MHA, DrPH, and executive students at Columbia Mailman School of Public Health. At Wharton, I was a teaching assistant for classes in health care, business and public public policy, and econometrics for MBAs and PhD students. I received the Penn Prize for Excellence in Teaching by Graduate Students in 2016.
